the only problem is (as was pointed out to me today by my dear friend E) that i don't think i've ever used a dishcloth before in my life. what does one use such a thing for? so, i went on a search for the answer on the always reliable interweb and found out that while there are lots of knit and crochet patterns for dishcloths, they are, apparently, also a bit disgusting.
they are pretty, though, right?
to be perfectly honest, i will admit that the last installment of my 2010 dishcloth marathon is quite ugly indeed, and i simply will not reveal any photo of the thing. i could barely stand to bring it on the bus for morning knitting for fear of public proof that i would knit something so ugly. now i have a collection of 6 lovely (and 1 not so lovely) dishcloths, which may one day be the source of our demise.
